In 2016, Electronic Arts forged their own path and created EA PLAY, an annual event that moved away from the E3 trade show floor in the South Hall where they had exhibited for several decades. EA has always been known for making their own rules, and they now had a superior way of engaging with media and gamers alike in their own environment created by Premier Displays & Exhibits, Inc. This new experiential medium allows EA maximum engagement with their various target audiences, and a much more refined narrative as it’s outside the cacophony of “boxes” that the E3 show management would have otherwise created for them were they still engaging the community on the show floor. PD&E worked with EA and other amazing partners to bring the first EA PLAY to life in 2016, and 2017 was an evolution: bigger, better, more engagement, more entertainment, more excitement around more dynamic upcoming titles.
